These works were all created in the South of France over an 8 week course of study in Provence. Each painting occurred start to finish on site (en plein air) within 1-2 hours capturing the light, color, and essence of each moment. Inspired by the landscape of France and the fast-paced use of oils, these works have pushed my work into a new direction inspiring many new landscapes from back home in the United States.
